November is a good time to visit, Chatsworth is decorated for Christmas and there are markets in the grounds. Haddon Hall has a Mercatum Artisan fair at weekends from 16th November. Between 17th November and 14th December we are offering 10% discount on Dove Cottage, so do visit and enjoy both events.

We have teamed up with local landscape photographer Chris Gilbert and can arrange a full days tuition for 2 people during your holiday. Brian stayed in Wye and said that the photographic workshop was the highlight of his visit.

The famous Monsal Trail, which is ideal for walking and cycling with its recently opened railway tunnels, is at the bottom of our drive. We have cycle storage on site and bike hire is just a mile away. There are delightful walks through the fields to Ashford.

The cottages are on our working sheep farm, 1/4 mile from the main road. Wake up to the sounds of the countryside, listen to the bird song and watch the sheep in the fields or enjoy a walk from the cottage door to the Monsal Trail.
