These luxury Derbyshire Dales cottages on our working farm are within a 5 mile drive of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. We are only ¼ mile from the famous Monsal Trail, ideal for walking and cycling, 1 mile from Ashford-in-the-Water and 2½ miles from Bakewell.

This large romantic hideaway for 2 boasts a spacious bedroom with king sized carved bed and magnificent oak beams. Adjoining it is a large bathroom with bath and over bath shower. The sitting room has a log burning stove and there is a separate fitted kitchen.
This charming former milking parlour has a cosy sitting room with exposed stonework. Upstairs there are wonderful old beams, a double bedroom, a large single bedroom and a stunning bathroom.
This spacious upside down cottage has a magnificently beamed sitting room and kitchen upstairs. Downstairs there is a double ensuite bedroom, a twin bedroom and family bathroom making the cottage ideal for 2 couples.

The cottages are on our working sheep farm, 1/4 mile from the main road. Wake up to the muted sounds of the countryside, watch the sheep and our rare breed hens and enjoy a walk from the cottage door to the Monsal Trail.
Walking and Cycling from the cottage door
The famous Monsal Trail, which is ideal for walking, cycling and buggies, with its newly opened railway tunnels is at the bottom of our drive. We have cycle storage on site and bike hire is just a mile away. There are delightful walks through the fields to Ashford.
